How To Play
Recruiting Employees
Employees are the powerhouse of the company!
You can recruit employess by plucking them off the Linked-Out Conveyor(tm).
The number above them is their Quarterly Salary. The salary will be paid at recruitment, and then once every quarter (not including the recruitment quarter).
Hired employees will be paid regardless of project assignment.
Starting Projects
Projects are what will keep your company afloat!
Accept a Planned project by dragging an employee into one of the slots.
Every project has a Load which is the amount of manpower the project needs.
Each employee will also have a personal Load which is the manpower they can provide, determined by their Ability.
Make sure the sum of employee loads is bigger than the project load. Otherwise, the project will be Understaffed!
Understaffed projects will have a speed & revenue penalty. If the understaffing is severe (<75% Load or missing roles), a project will start to Degrade. Degrading projects will eventually be Scrapped, where it cannot be saved anymore.
Releasing Projects
You can only start gaining revenue after a project is Released. (In Dev projects will be included in the projected revenue, but not actually generate revenue!)
Release a game by filling up the progress. Employees with high Speed skills can help.
Employee Skillset
Each employee have 5 skills: Ability, Passion, Speed, Coop and Potential.
Ability increases the load of an Employee.
Passion grants extra revenue to a released project.
Speed helps release a project faster.
Coop grants additional Passion & Speed per project teammate.
Potential grants additional Passion & Speed per Level.
Leveling Up Employees
Employees gain EXP every quarter if they are working on a project. In Dev projects tend to give more EXP than Released projects.
When an employee Levels Up, they will get 3 Skill Points to spend on any Skillset (except potential).
Genre and Personality
Employees have a strong and weak genre based on their personality.
Working on strong genres yields extra Ability, Passion and Speed. A weak genre decreases them.
